Bald is Beautiful (12.2003) paperclip

Tired of the typical mermaids, I developed my own idea: In a culture where hair just gets in the way, this mermaid is of the lowest class. Her stripes further mark her as the bottom of the lower class. Merfolk of royal blood have no markings and shimmer with the colours of the Prism. If this mermaid were to shave herself or cut her hair, she would be executed for impersonation. Those of royal blood, however, have often been rumored to disguise themselves as lower class to find out who to trust and who to execute.
