Moloch Sketch (2005)

One of the sketches I made when planning the Moloch-sculpture. I was trying to go for something steampunkish. Something detailed and functional-looking but at the same time completely exaggerated and stylized. Here I was trying to work out the details of the coloring.

This is one of the comparisons between the original sketch and finished maquette.
