Self-Portrait (2003)
This was done during printmaking class. A plastic plate was covered in ink, the excess ink gotten rid of, and the drawing sketched out onto the back of the paper. The result is the above image. Where the pen (or pencil in my case) traces, the paper picks up ink.
The theme of the class was self-portraits. My cat, Mirre, is one aspect of myself, and so I created this piece.
