Windows 95 Paint Dragon (1995)
This dragon is a very old one... And incomplete, as you can see.
I started working on it many years ago (and gave up) before I had ever heard of "fancy" programs like Adobe Photoshop. I had only witnessed the magic being worked in a running demo of some Corel product in the mall some years ago. To me, the things one could do with it seemed absolutely amazing.
In those years, although I fervently denied it, even making anti-3-d-program art, there was nothing I wanted more than a 3-d rendering program. Nowadays, I wonder in which direction my computer art would have gone if I had actually been able to try out and decipher one of those programs.
This piece was done by a sad 12-year old playing around with Paint program included in Windows 95.
